Worked with the Cato Insititue to create a new logo design, a complete rebrand, and three related websites. Human Progress is Cato’s space to highlight trends and share global progress. Schema brought an enhanced editorial lens to the Human Progress site by cleaning up the content, clustering related media to reinforce cohesive messaging, and creating filtered browsing. The continually updated site features various content types, derived from multiple data sources.

That data is displayed in the Cato Workspace, which showcases data visualizations. With Schema’s help, Workspace became an engaging treemap visualization. Lastly, Schema worked with Cato to turn the Human Freedom Index (originally a PDF formatted annual study comparing how different countries rank in terms of “freedom”) into a functional website: Exploring Freedom. Schema’s collaborative work leaves Cato well positioned to communicate their thought leadership in effective, engaging, and distinctive ways.
